F1 » Hamilton's Texas stampede pushes Vettel aside

Sebastian Vettel was doubtless hoping for great things in F1's first visit to the Circuit of the Americas, but both the race win and the drivers championship were not to be his in Texas.

Taipan, The hats are a local thing, perhaps you can't relate. But the entire event from Friday to Today's race was the greatist thing for F1 in the USA in decades, sorry you were not here to see it

Don't want to detract from what was quite a good race by F1 standard but how many people had avoided hearing the race result because they were going to watch it on the BBC . Well BBC i hope you are proud of the fact you are such a bunch of IDIOTS . I waited all day avoiding all media that might give the result. Guess what the BBC did they gave the whole thing at the end of the news broadcast as i was getting ready for the race to come on . This is an example of the type of people that runs the show at the BBC . Well done you bunch of Beeeeeeps
Great race all the same . WELL DONE LEWIS.

ck. the fanboys are the ones now calling seb a cry baby!
what we saw was a good race between two pretty equal car/driver combos. and yes, if the cucumber had been looking out, it is possible that seb could have held on.( dont forget, he was nursing a possible alternature problem) but it was ONLY the drs that allowed the pass. seb finished a half second behind lulu, so not too bad. and he was by no means bitter. he applauded lulu after the finish, and was happily chatting with him at the end, discussing which of them had got ftd.

it had always been near impossible for seb to win in texas, so going to brazil for the climax, is not bad. just hope that the alternator problem is fixed.

heibai. do you really know much about f1?

for seb to win the wdc in texas, he needed to finish first with ferdi fourth or lower. or if second, ferdi had to be ninth or lower.

now with seb, lulu and ferdi being the top three drivers at present, the likliehood of either result was always highly unlikely!

funny how the commentators on sky and bbc were also of the same opinion, but there again, i presume you will say they know nothing either?
