F1 » Hamilton's Texas stampede pushes Vettel aside

Sebastian Vettel was doubtless hoping for great things in F1's first visit to the Circuit of the Americas, but both the race win and the drivers championship were not to be his in Texas.

I wanna hear a true transcript of Vettel's radio whinge

All that BS about the HRT backmarker was just yet more RB guff to try to conceal the embarassment at the childish outburst

Taipan, The hats are a local thing, perhaps you can't relate. But the entire event from Friday to Today's race was the greatist thing for F1 in the USA in decades, sorry you were not here to see it

Don't want to detract from what was quite a good race by F1 standard but how many people had avoided hearing the race result because they were going to watch it on the BBC . Well BBC i hope you are proud of the fact you are such a bunch of IDIOTS . I waited all day avoiding all media that might give the result. Guess what the BBC did they gave the whole thing at the end of the news broadcast as i was getting ready for the race to come on . This is an example of the type of people that runs the show at the BBC . Well done you bunch of Beeeeeeps
Great race all the same . WELL DONE LEWIS.

Clausen, you're a dolt. You must be jealous that Texans put together a facility that everyone involved in the raced, fans and teams alike, agreed was first rate. Get over it. I was there all weekend. Near as I can tell from all the folks I talked with the race and everything associated with it was a big success. And they are looking forward to being there next year.

Proof that for the last 2 races that the McLaren was the faster car in race conditions...

It has nothing to do with the driver...

...Well thats what I read when its Vettel winning anyways.

Fanbois, where are you at? I know! Kneeling at the alter of Lewis!

Sticky mouths and all.

Truly a great race despite the predictions that overtaking would be difficult, also very nice to see the grandstands full. F1 races should be held in countries where a proportion of the populaton actually likes the sport, not in countries that just have the money to pay Bernie.

WOW what a race!!! Brilliant from start to finish and some of the driving was of the highest calibre you'll see. Glad the title will go down to the last race but even happier with a Hilke designed track, finally a great one. The place was packed, the layout and facilities top notch and F1 showing what a great show it can be!!
