Richard, Lewis couldnt Pull away because the RBR was faster in 2 of the 3 sectors, at another track like Monza or Shangai Vettel would have been eating Lewis's dust

Oligarch, Why would Vettel risk 18 points trying a 50/50 move on Lulu? he had a championship to think of, Lulu didn't.

Richard, Agreed the 2 cars were very well matched throughout the race. What's the deal with these RBR alternators? Is it a cooling issue that's killing them rather than a fault with the actual alternator? as I was under the belief that they had changed back to a previous alternator.

seb did not have to risk fighting lewis for the entire time that lewis was behind him but he still fought him off, why didnt he let lewis by earlier since alonso was more than 30sec behind and just coast to the end and take the points? why would he choose to push at the risk of having a dnf like mark. if it was such a non event why was he low after the race and brought it up?

you seem to be on the same level as the fan boys you despise

oli. first answer....i said the two cars were evenly matched!

secondly, seb was not "low" he was joking with lulu and applauded him. Did you miss that too?

and as for bringing the matter up....he was asked a question and responded. what did you expect him to do? sit there and be criticised for not answering?

I would have thought that Vettle wants the World Championship and was thinking
I don't need to have Hamilton trying something stupid, luckily DRS solved the problem so Hamilton did'nt have to try anything daft. Thats the difference between Vettle/Alonso and Hamilton they use their brains and Hamilton uses his right foot regardless as we have seen so many times.

Vettel wanted very much this race victory. This was his 100 GP and it was in the same country where he debuted back in 2007. He tried to the last meter but he simply couldn't overtake. I guess he was waiting for a backmarker to block Lewis a little bit, but that didn't happened. As for Lewis not building a gap on Vettel after overtaking him, If you watch carefully, McLaren wasn't so fast compared to the others at the end of a stint. I guess matter of tyres. Yes Lewis set the fastest lap on the penultimate lap but this was undone by Vettel, both Ferraris and Raikkonen in the last lap.

Richard Hamilton did pull away the gap was 1.8 second in the last couple of laps and than u say they were evenly matched so how could Lewis pull away if they were evenly matched seb knew Hamilton wouldn't go away when seb starts first and webber second u see seb pull away and ur in awe and u think how fast was he but the thing u forget is webber holds the rest back where was vettel he wasn't pulling away against Lewis bcoz Lewis had a similar car to vettel as fit webber and why he can't stay with seb says all about him average webber

Richard, tell me please: Are you a fan of Vettel or a fan of Red Bull Racing? If your answer is Vettel, than we should speak again in 2014 about Vettel and Alonso. Only if Vettel joins Ferrari alongside Alonso, we can see Vettel's true face. He could be the master of F1 or an egg grasper because of the greats car that Red Bull gave to him. Only time can tell the truth, neither me nor you.

What a load of Rubbish, who forced Alonso off the Track in Monza? Vettel, who crashed into a DRS sign Vettel, who over took off the track? Vettel... Look I Like Vettel but under pressure he is more likely to do something stupid than any one else, Alonso the same but he gets his tesm to do his dirty work for him
