F1 » Button: Fifth the best I could do


Jenson Button admits that, while he had hoped for more, fifth place probably represented the best result on offer to him after qualifying frustration at the USGP.

boband - I can just see you making your important point to Button in person and looking like an idiot. Also, good luck "arguing" for McLaren having the fastest car this season - I think you'll find few people to agree with you.

Have to admit Hamilton has outclassed Button for most of this season. A few odd races the 2009 champ turned up, but for most of it he hasn't been able to get the tyres to work.

I think Button will do better next year as the tyres are going to be less sensitive, but that may just increase the dominance of Red Bull.
