I'm sure most people are aware of your status and drive as being on par with the best of the current crop of drivers. Your talent is well appreciated amongst the true F1 fans. You have nothing to prove to those of us who give true credit where it is due.

What you have proved, with a stunning drive and a well deserved win, is that McLaren have provided you with a winning car. One of the best in Formula One. What are you going to do next season, when you haven't got one?

no lewis, no lewis. this is almost as bad as "a team should have a number 1 and number 2 driver to win the championships" or "i will quit F1 if team orders are imposed" or "this year there are no excuses" or "alonso is not a factor"

what were you thinking lewis, guess you were not! no need to appear arrogant

@ratchet69, On the contrary, time and time again Lewis has out performed the McLarens abilities, so as far as giving him a winning car is concerned I don't think that is the true reflection of how things went down in Texas.

It's absolutely understandable that Hamilton is pushing himself afer that victory - a well deserved one I guess. The only I haven't seen is how Hamilton pushed Vettel into a mistake, as he claimed. He used his DRS to gety by ok, but was there any mistake? I think not. However the maneuver was well prepared by Hamilton - kudos for that.

As pointed out, everyone knows he can drive when the car is good, the question mark is over when things arent so good. He drove a crap car brilliantly in Oz 2009, he dissapeared a little after that once everyone knew the car was actually rubbish until the team provided a brand new car from Hungary onwards. More comparison with Alonso when you look at the car Alonso started with this year with and what he has done with it when it hasnt been very good. I think he took Jenson Button a little lightly last season, helped by JB telling everyone how brilliant he (LH) was while patting him on the head, this year, dodgy pit stops, crumbling tyres, busted cars, dodgy tactics, the occasional bit of ridiculous/heated banter over the radio, he's left JB/McLaren suprised/confused/beaten. He didnt break his car trying to win in Texas, he proved he was good enough when the chance came along. Do that for 20 races next year and see where he ends up.

I watched the race twice and the mistakes I suppose he's referring to are the instances where Seb was locking up the brakes. He was trying to brake as late as possible to not get passed in the corner. Apart from that both drivers were faultless. All the best to Lewis next year.
