Jenson Button: I'd love to have a clean weekend, a trouble-free qualifying and then have a good run at scoring some strong points on Sunday

Take a look back a bit jenson, its been a quick car all year, but you among most have done your part to prove that it hasn't been. Your Mclaren's answer to Webber

Jensen has suffered at least as much as Lewis with poor car reliability this season. Button remains a fantastic driver with smooth skills that WILL bring him another championship. I cannot understand why his car gremlins always seem to occur when his practise sessions are going very well.........
Next season Mclaren will need to build the car around him - then we shall see. He still remains as the best ambassador of the sport.

Its incredibly quick in Hamiltons hands, but this year I think JB has proved what a lot of people have thought for a long time now that he is vastly overated and his 2009 championship was down to the Brawn car.

Just imagine what a driver like Hamilton or Alonso could have done with that Brawn.

@rb27 I've had the same conversation with a few mates but they shouted me down when I pointed out it could have easily been Vettel going for his 4th title in a row rather than the 3rd if the Brawn had been the midfield runner the merc has been for the last 3 years.

Ok I'm going to correct some people here on what Button said about the car, from the horse's mouth. He never said the car was the worst since he was there. He said it was the least suited to him, so saying the McLaren is a quick car is NOT a contradiction. Simply put Button's basically telling the truth. The car is quick but he wasn't so well suited to it, which is Button's achilles heel. His precise driving style means he finds it difficult driving around problems, which he has had this year while Hamilton almost thrives in driving around problems as Alonso would freely tell you.
