As for rain during the race, would that be a good thing for Alonso?
Like to refresh the memories of some of you.
First win in F1 for SV was in the rain at Monza in a Torro Rosso, so what's the big deal for Alonso when it rains?

Last statement of his- We know that a place on the podium alone could be enough
This time around not speaking of reliability directly. Why do he/ferrari always talk about others reliability? I smell something fishy!!!
If you have the guts, say I will win and massa will cover up for me and rest I dont have in my hands

Everyone stop bringing up Monza 2008!!! It was 4 years ago!

Who has finished ahead of the other driver at EVERY wet race THIS year? Who has won a race in the wet THIS year?

Sunday is going to be fun. Blink and you'll miss it. I LOVE all the fighting talk at this time of the year (before we all quit the forum for a few quiet months). Everyone becomes an expert for a few days, including me. And that's part of the fun :-)

BRING IT ON!!!

2008 (wet) Alonso starts 5th, finishes 2nd. Vettel starts 7th, finishes 4th.

2009 (wet at start) Alonso starts 10th, DNF (crash). Vettel starts 15th, finishes 4th.

2010 (dry) Alonso started 4th, finishes 3rd. Vettel started 2nd, finished 1st.

2011 (dry) Alonso started 5th, finished 4th. vettel started 1st, finished 2nd.

The first half of the season, Ferrari was as fast as Sauber, Force India, Mercedes and Lotus Renault. It's almost a miracle that Alonso can still win the tittle.

But obviously the pressure is now on Vettel, because he's got the championship in his hands and only a serious mistake, an accident or a car break down can make him lose it.

Poor old Alonso! clearly the ballsiest driver in so far as he can drive at 101% every lap of a race but let down by Ferrari car wise 2 years in a row now. Oh how we must wish he could have gone to red bull.

Last year it was snatched from his grasp and so it seems to be repeated.

I bet he can only think about what might have been in belgium had grosjean not taken him out.

I think guy is a great driver and thoughtful - he at least tries to share his thoughts in an intelligent manner.

he deserves to be champ.
