Alonso can race Vettel from there, there is a long uphill climb at the end of the lap, Red Bull are slow in a straight line and KERS is available from the start.

Alonso also denied that he had gone for a wet set-up during qualifying.

"Not really. These days the wet or dry set-ups are dominated by the aerodynamics so you can change the level of downforce but here because you run the maximum downforce in the dry in the wet there is no big change. In the results today I don't think anyone gambled today focusing on tomorrow's rain and the same for us."

Only RedBull#1 DNF can see Alonso to the third title...otherwise even if it rains, its highly unlikely
Thing is -Seeing RBR's recent reliability, that chance is not highly unlikely!

May the best win and hope for clear first corner (and some rain)

And these are the wards of Lulu and Schumacher.
Lulu suggested his team had not taken the gamble of going for a wet weather setup despite the chances of rain for Sunday “we have just set the car up to attack for qualifying”.
Schumacher believes the team compromised his car setup too much for qualifying in the hope that it rains on Sunday.
