Mark Webber: I thought the lap would be enough, but we were a tenth off; it's always tight here in qualifying...

@dontalknonsense

Really? I seem to remember the team had to bring him in to the pits to get him out of the way due to his reluctance to help vettel. Alonso is more likely to let Vettel pass than Webber.

"I have to admit I am a more than a bit floored by the number of people who are saying Webber should help Vettel win the championship. It makes me wonder where the hell you all were when the situation was reversed?"

In what alternative universe was the situation EVER reversed - i.e. Webber had a shot at the title while Vettel was mathamatically eliminated? Stop being floored and start thinking straight.

We don't need to worry about Mark getting in Seb's way, because just like he always does he'll lose several places on the start and spend the entire afternoon trying to regain them.

Before anyone thinks I'm a Webber basher, I'm one of his biggest fans and have been cheering for him since 2002. But let's face it, I don't think it'll take long for Seb to blast past him. Maybe 50 metres or so at the most...

"He is not a team player from day one"

You don't need to be a team player on the track to be a great team builder in the garage. Mark's knowledge and experience played a key role in RBR's rise to dominance. So please don't insinuate that he doesn't work hard for his team.

@splinky, how would you know what goes on behind closed doors at RB, he is obviously highly regarded by the boss, hence he keeps on re-signing him, how would you go having a team mate that carries on like a sook every time something goes against him, Mark's biggest fault is that he doesn't take any rubbish, we need more drivers like him.

Conversely would you enter a business with someone you didn't rate? Get real splinky, stop trying to make something out of nothing. MW is known to be a good team member, just because he won't move aside for his teammate doesn't make him any otherwise.
