what an intriguing race, with a nail biting finish. congrats to button, ferdi and seb.
amazing to see newey studying photos of the damage to see what effect it would have. had to change engine mapping etc to counteract the reduced downforce, but he pulled through.
a bit of a bad show from ferrari again, calling for safety car (maybe correctly though) and then trying to get seb for "passing under a yellow" , which he didnt.
hilks penalty was undeserved. he could not prevent the rear slipping off line in the wet.
would have liked to see lulu leave with a win, but not to be.
and oddly enough (for some deluded posters here) button seemed to have plenty of grip today! :D :D

what ever they wish ferrari got it,but they could not capitalize on those opportunities because at Maranello they can not produce a quick car what they are good at is to desteroy the qickest car in a wet condition which was ferrari in the middle of the season.

Green light was shown when Seb started his run up to Kobayashi. He passed him right before the next yellow and I'm sure Seb would've let him past if Kobayashi didn't pit. There's nothing that can be done really.

If there wasnt that green light between the yellows and kobayashi didn't pit and wasn't allowed back past, then yes, something should've been done. As it stands, no further action is the right decision. Thankfully fanboys and armchair racers don't make the rules.

People get your facts right! Vettel didn't pass under a yellow... Anyway, Vettel is WORLD CHAMPION and deservedly so! That drive is the mark of true champion!

Not that I really care cause I'm not a fan of either really, but Vettel DID pass under yellows.

He was still behind Koba before they hit the next yellow light. Oil flag or not, yellows mean no overtaking.

Also, Koba hitting the pits is irrelevant in this situation. If the place cannot be given back for whatever reason, a drive through should have been issued.

If I remember correctly, that's a 20sec post race penalty.

Well when luck is with you, you can't do no wrong.
What bothered me the most is the amount of drivers simple let Vettle thru when they should be fighting positions... MSC banging wheel with everyone who tired passing him but not SB. Then Hulk gets unissued for similar accident as Vettle got Scott free. To those moaned about FA calling for safety car, that is what every driver would have done to close a gap whenever a safety car is deployed.
Anyway Iit was a nail biting race but to me with all the above going it tainted the result somewhat....
Good luck to all next year.

Seb caused a collision on the first corner, at least as much as Hulk did on Lewis.

He also definitely passed under yellow flags but there was no way to let Pastor past anyway.

I have no agenda, I just ask for equality. Seb is obviously a quality driver but Fernando deserved it.
