F1 » Vettel is triple champion as Button wins Brazil

A dramatic, thrilling and wholly unpredictable Brazilian Grand Prix kept the title and the race win in doubt almost to the very end of 71 sodden laps at Interlagos.

Congrats to Button and Vettel both.

And also to Alonso, who has done amazing things with a car that was largely rated 2nd or 3rd most of (if not all) the season.

There were many big achievements today besides those towards the front of the pack:
Petrov brings home 10th in Constructors to Caterham, which means a huge pile of cash, at least compared to 11th.
Force India for fielding a car that was equal to the task of fighting for and holding the lead for quite a while.

And finally, Felipe Massa for finally being back on form again. Well done Felipe.

Kudos to all drivers, especially to champions and the great runnerups. It wouldnt have been such a season without their skill. Just few hindsights:
- Kubica and Barriq are missing in the mix
- Some talents will have to move out (Kobi, Kovi and Petrov)
- politics and money still playing bigger role,
- interviews on the podium and e-national flags,
- no bonding between drivers and less fun,
- Schumi out.. now Button is the senior what a surprise after all :-p
On the other hand:
- Kimi is back,
- close racing (drs works only for the good),
- close competition (even HRT there have been far far slower squads),
- great drives, battles, races and must say SKY is good but too much of everything...

Great season
Bring on 2013
And please Top Gear bring alonso to test track to better Vettel at least there!!!:-)

Button once again waited until something happened in front to win a race. Not the kind of F1 racing I want to watch.Great drive from Hulk until the accident. Msc gave way to Seb, nice touch.Petrov is the man of the hour. IMHO Pic helped his future team. LOL.

"...Button once again waited until something happened in front to win a race..."

As opposed to Hamilton who got back to the front through pure speed after being 55 seconds down on Button...
