And you can be proud of kicking out one of the most talented drivers of recent times and sold the second seat for pesos. Hard to imagine this was the same team where Kimi made his debut

At least, she's smart enough to see that target will always have to be to conserve the team's midfield status. That said, their rule will always be that drivers will come and go.Going upwards after that, will ensure some solid cash in the bank eventually. Nothing wrong with that !

"Nothing wrong with that" you say...getting rid of an experienced great driver for a novice in Gut? No this was a bone head move by Sauber...they will loose more in their standings and crashes than they gain for Slim's endorsement...in the end, this condition, namely, all the teams having to supplement their funding from outside sources of the FIA is Bernie's fault....more $$$ should go to the teams so that fat cat hack drivers like Maldenado, Senna and Grosjean, to name a few, are eliminated from the grid...proven quality drivers should be behind the wheels of F1...as fans we deserve more and should demand that sponsorship money should not determine driver choice...from a safety point of view, this policy makes sense.

Krish, I like it.
Well Kobayashi said he understand Sauber needs money.
If Sauber does not give seat to another Mexican Amigo and then Sauber will be left with empty in bank in 2014. For 2013, Sauber can still keep Sponsor from Telmex but definitely all Mexican sponsor Perez bring to Sauber will go to McLaren 2014.
However, given opportunity to second Amigo will leave Sauber with some Mexican Sponsor and fund.
Perez family is Carlos Slim closed family friend and he brought to team load of gold. That why second driver's car is 100% better than No.1 driver at Sauber team and no one dare to complaint about that.
Every one honest in F1 knew Kobayashi is more consistency than Perez. A few F1 reporters frankly said Kobayashi should get McLaren seat over Perez.
F1 is money face rather than talent in recent year.
David Coulthard said on BBC about Kobayashi, the Japanese driver has no talent to compare to his partner Perez. Everyone involve in F1 was wanted favor from world richest man Carlos

If Petrov or Narain Karthikeyan was closed family of big boss Carlos Slim and then even David Coulthard will said they are talent driver but unfortunately car was ****.
Every one is want a piece of cakes from Mexican Carlos Slim.
So Sauber has no other choice and drop Kobayashi for another Amigo.
Only one thing I'm not satified about Sauber dealing with Kobayashi for 2013. Why they sign Nico Hulkenberg if Sauber honestly appreciated Kobayashi?
Nico Hulkenberg bring some sponsor but Sauber should tell Kobayashi after Perez was signed by McLaren.
So Kobayashi can have time for to find sponsor.
Sauber told Kobayashi after Japan GP, he needs to bring sponsor for 2013. Also same time they already agree to sign Nico Hulkenberg.
I don't think Sauber is 100% honest about dealing with Kobayashi for 2013 seat.
I think better to forget about Sauber team and moving on.
I believe Kobayashi will get decent car in other mid-field team.
