So glad next year to be able to follow McLaren without the Lewis Bieber fangirls writing breathless nonsense here.

The WDC and Manufacturer's Cubs are the goals. They are earned through a point system. You hire drivers to gather those points for you. In the 3 years, Jenson gathered more points. This is hard? C'mon girls.

Just like a website like this for me to get disagrees on an indisputable fact. Button had been over 50 seconds ahead of Hamilton before the Safety Car. There is no way Hamilton was going to catch that up. Seeing as his biggest gap over Button at any point in the whole race I believe was 5 or 6 seconds.

I don't care about Button/Hamilton.

This race, from the start, Jenson owned it. The safety car brought it all back together and Jenson did what he had to do. He pushed as hard as he needed to, when he needed to. IF ANYONE could be compared, it was Hulkenburg. Nico was BRILLIANT, and his coming together with Lewis was unfortunate. I think if Vettel / Hamilton / Alonso did that they WOULD NOT have got a drive through. It was a good pass and the wheels locking right at the end was an unfortunate by product of the rain. But great race. VEry exciting.

Yes, Nico was really on it, very impressive. I think, given the spin and his over exuberance at times that he ultimately would have been behind both Mclarens if there hasn't been a coming together but I look forward to seeing him in a Sauber next year. The drive through was ridiculous. It was a racing incident!

Completely gifted win once again. Button was only so far ahead due to being lucky with his strategy and tyre choice again nothing to do with his ability. As said before Button only seems to prosper during chaos.

If Alonso had even a sniff of the luck that Button has had he'd have been world champion.

One of the luckiest drivers on the grid.

@Honestybox, you seem bitter. What part of Button's strategy was luck? It was a judgement call. Button and Hulkenberg both got it right. You say this is nothing to do with ability. I say you're an idiot for taking this point of view. It shows great ability in calling strategy which is a big part of F1 in case you hadn't noticed. You said Button prospers in chaos. That's because he is the best at getting these judgment calls right.

@sokudo

Nothing bitter at all infact the only bitter person around here seems to be yourself as you have to throw in personal insults. Truth hurt does it??

Maybe you should take your button tinted lenses off and rewatch each of the races in which Button has won this year.

We'll see how great he is next year @ getting these "judgement calls" right when it comes to setting his own car up...hasn't got LH's set up to pinch now when he can't get it right himself has he....
