Hum... I think that his car is very underated by media, ok in qualif, it's not the better car but in race it's a good car.

It's also not mentioned enough that the redbull was not very impressive in the first part of the season due to the FIA's immersion to unfairly down a team because others are "too bad".

It's also not enough said that he is one of the luckiest pilot even if he pointed Grosjean responsible of his failure, he knows that without other pilot's failures, he wont play the title in Brazil...

He is a very good and talented driver but he doesn't deserve IMO the title this year.
Maybe Hamilton but not him.

Well done Fernando, to your fans you are the champion. Great sporting effort and you did what you needed to do in reaching that podium. And really the team got you there, your lead was taken away buy a few unlucky events earlier in the season.

@ Antialonsistas

What a stup*d and path*tic comment from a person who seem to doesn't respect the people of this sport. Yes Alonso is disappointed but that is what this sport is all about. Being 3 point behind the Vettel in the best car on the grid while driving a car that is behind the RedBull and Mclaren in terms of capability is superb and something to be proud of. I am a Ferrari fan and what this team showed in Brazil made me proud of what they avhieved, they couldn't have done better, as Alonso said, doing the best job you can is already satisfactory, and being taken out in 2 races out of his own fault is something to consider. If you are A Vettel fan, atleast respect the man for for he tried to win. And for the Redbull, Congratulation "Adrian Newey" for winning the Championship.

You can be proud of their cheating ways, that is up to you. I am not proud of ruining massa, stealing mclaren secrets and winning races by getting your team mate to deliberately crash. But maybe I have different values.

2012 season Points/Podium Finishes

1 Vettel 281 9
2 Alonso 278 13
3 Kimi 207 5
4 Hamilton 190 7
5 Button 188 3

-FA had 2 DNF at Spa+Suzuka first corner caused by both Renault drivers crashing him out from behind Ironically these finally gave SVs third crown proving his best friends.
-Otherwise the story would be very other one

Maybe one thing he could have changed is come into the pits today when the team called him in and not lose 15 seconds over the next lap, allowing him to attack Button for the win and the championship.
