F1 » Force India simmers over 'lost fairytale'

The Force India team came away with a solid fifth place in Brazil, but they'd been hoping for a podium - or even better - and blamed two decisions by officials for losing out.

richard. you say LH should have shown some caution therefore conversely so should NH particularly as he was on the inside line that was still wet. Furthermore his car didn't squirm as you claim and had LH taken a slightly wider line then he would have completely spun. Driver error, rush of blood, lack of forethought come to mind.

OK, so we have to blame someone, and if we do then it has to be Hulks fault. But why does that mean he should be penalised? As has been said, it wasn't a crazy lunge from miles back, it wasn't wreckless. Wrecklessness is what should be penalised.

What about the Senna/Vettel/Perez incident? I put the blame on Vettel, but again it wasn't wreckless, so no penalty was given. I think that one was more deserving of a penalty than Hulks crash as Vettel could reasonably have expected someone to be there.

Nico had the most fantastic drive of all season for Force India. It was unfortunate that Force India's only podium shot got smeared by F1 politics. If Ham was in same situation he wouldn't have gotten a penalty.
My biggest disappointment with f1 is that the last race showed that f1 still has a soft spot for Ferrari and McLaren. Reasons you may ask ? Strategic yellow flag timing and drive through for Hulk for no reason. One may contest that. However anni mentioned his tim3 around Hamilton was the back marker against the fanattic Hulk. He should have backed off since hulk had a REAL shot to the podium.
Being business partners I.e. McLaren and Force India one may expect some co-op play.
Well this just is the most disappointment as smaller budding teams like Force India get the short end of the stick.
It's a money show rather than fair competition. And that makes me wonder if I should watch the next season.
