I don't care what Lewis haters have to say or the Merc haters. Merc increasing its budget for next year says it all...they have the driver they've been waiting for... Lewis' rest won't last very long

Speaking to the point about him wanting to pull back from the corporate obligations. I think he may be following Vettels lead, in that Vettel got rid of most if not all of his personal sponsorship's prior to 2012 to concentrate solely on his craft. The money these guys get now gives them the luxury of doing so. A guy like Hulkenberg or Kobyashi might not have that luxury.

@ who cares no, Hamilton beat him the 1st yr, Button beat him the 2nd yr, Hamilton beat him the 3rd yr. Lewis beat him this yr even though having 5 retirements by 2 points. And don't even mention qualifying that was a one sided affair. Button has one advantage and that's total points in the 3 yrs. F1 is all about speed so if we're going on that criteria there's really no comparison. Unless you're looking for something else in a driver. Maybe, for him being a nice guy. Which I don't believe he is. I've stated many times on here I believe he's "a wolf in sheep's clothing" and "a brown noser" and it will be revealed in time. Maybe, as early as next year.

@ who cares 2010 Lewis defeats the reigning 2009WDC. 2011 due to woman trouble and change in tire regs Lewis gets caught out by his more experience teammate with JB finishing above Lewis. 2012 Lewis finishes above his teammate . I make that 2-1 Lewis.

Who cares, thanks for the inquiry and i hope i have been of some help.

Hello richard:), look forward to many discussions with you next year on how Lewis keeps finishing above former WDC in the same car, and lets hope he will take it easy on Nico next year.

herts etc. your idol one a wdc by ONE point. this year he did indeed beat button by 2 points. based on the changed points system, that would be the same enormous points difference as in 2008. ( in fact a slightly smaller difference...less than ONE point) hardly what i would call a convincing trouncing. in fact, such an epic driver is probably quite embarrassed at being shown up by what you term as a mediocre driver!

All this stuff about who's better is ridiculous. The truth of the matter is Hamilton is the better driver. Alonso, Vettel, and Hamilton are considered the three best divers in F1. Because of his speed and qualifying deficiencies Button will never be on that list and everybody knows it. This back and forth is pointless.
