Thanks Jason. Seems like there are many blind people around here.

The green light at the end of the straight does not matter. Nor does the yellow light coming on to the straight.

What is important is that there is a green flag being waved at the marshal post on the left (not long after the yellow lights on the right). This flag is waved before Vettel even pulls out to overtake Vergne.

To say that Vettel passed illegally Ferrari would have to prove beyond all doubt that there is either no flag being waved or a yellow flag being waved at the marshal post -which is impossible, since there is a green flag being waved.

i think it is hard to see any green flag on third pass. flag maybe. green maybe not. but if fia investgates i predict they will find a stweard who says he was waving green flag so that fia can quickly end embarrassing row over this. wether or not green flag is there, it is bad for sport to be deciding champion one week after race finish. or maybe they will say vettel was forced to pass toro rosso because tr was too slow because of team order from red bull to let vettel pass.

The way I understand the rules since 2000/2001 when I began watching F1 & motorbike racing is that you can't pass until after the green flag zone & that was the rules when I was racing. I don't know if that has changed I don't think it has.

If Vettel has passed Vergne before the green flag then that deserved a penalty. It's now 4 days after the race, there is no point in changing the results now, it should have been sorted during the race.

My friend Alonso, I personally think you should act like an gentleman, no point crying about losing the championship, Vettel deserve more for his brilliant driving skills of that day. You came to the top with other peoples mistakes and you depend on that very much unlike Vettel. You don't have even one fastest lap during this season. Your team mate Massa is a another puff as far as I am concerned, if not for him you wouldn't have got points, lets face facts. If RB wanted they would have asked Webber to stop but they are a clean racing team unlike Ferrari. All you people are jealous of Seb, and you no why? you guys couldn't achieved what Seb achieved at age 23/25. All the best for the next season.
