Sebastian Vettel could be stripped of his third F1 world championship if it can be proved that he passed Jean-Eric Vergne under yellow flags at Interlagos on Sunday.

Always suspected so. Apart from the fact the footage shows it's legal, Autosport didn't comment as clearly they thought it wasn't worth reporting.

Still lot of hits for crash.

At least this will force the FIA to clarify the flag/lights/dash indicators etc which is a good thing.

Always was a non story though.

Alonso had won a lot of respect back but after feeding the to the Spanish press who are gullible enough to run with it then he has lost a lot of respect.

Once a cheat, always a cheat.

case closed.

Wouldn't red/yellow signal indicate slow down which would also indicate no overtaking? FIA need to pay more attention to the rulebook (seeing how they probably make 80% of it up). How come Schumacher and Alonso were penalized for overtaking red/yellow flags in 2006, yet no penalty was imposed upon Vettel in Brazil when both colours were used??? Again, FIA need to be more consistent with their ruling.

FIA (Ferrari International Association) with ex-Ferrari boss, Jean Todt as the head. Can't see much chance of Vettel keeping his title here.

@Dodgy Pass
On the BBC F1 site, slow mo video makes it clear the pass was not attempted until after a green flag on the left hand side, which makes Vettel's pass legal. I had to play it back several times to see this.

stupid very stupid in football an offside goal.... or ball pass line but not goal.... cannot protest or change score although it really clear in video replay.... ferrari it little bit different with mclaren disqualified in 2007 or kimi title in 2007 with bmw car weight issue....
