Congratulations to Crash.net for not stirring this pot and showing some restraint. This is a contrived story fueled by inaccurate analysis and confusion from hysterical fans. If only some of the other fanatic outlets had held their water a moment and done their homework, in stead of forwarding the contrived controversy, this non-story would have died quickly. As it is, a lot of credibility was lost in this ridiculous firestorm, while Ferrari and Alonso have been made to look pathetic and poor sports by their own "supporting" press. They don't deserve that any more than Vettel deserved what was said about him.

This is what happens when you give a limited cameras angle to people with a limited knowledge of the sport.

Charlie whiting has come out and said that a rule was not broken. I guess people know better that the race director. All the fan made videos on this are useless, they are slowed down to emphasise the yellow light and green light and completely ignore the marshal post.

Can people stop going on about a coverup?

Most FOM coverage of F1 is pulled of youtube as it doesn't have rights to show it (Sky and BBC do), FOM is one of the most aggressive broadcasters in taking down footage from video sharing sites, EPL footage is also pulled on a daily basis.

The Kimi (I was taking a ****) clip has been taken down 100 time but still keeps getting uploaded :)

There's no conspiracy, just Ferrari/Alonso throwing their toys out of the pram...again.
