Just a shame for Mark that when the car does have that maximum downforce (cause I think that's what they were able to put more on the car after Newey made the DRS more effective through those air channels in the sides of the rear wing), he struggles to drive the car on the limit.

Hopefully these fairly reasonable and innocuous comments from Mark won't draw the same level of vilification that the last thread about Webber did.

BTW, Good wrap up to the season by Commo Jr with a P4 followed by a P6. Can't wait to see how he goes in 2013.

Thanks Googs. Car 19 already sold and delivered. Car 91 being retained as Ride Car. Yep bring on 2013 and Car of the Future. 1st Test Feb.Already driven 888 prototype. Going same path.

No doubt the vilification will continue. 1 comment and the masses will follow. Unwarranted. Triple J has already hit the keyboard.

jjj. the channels had absolutely nothing to do with drs. but the channels did help in creating downforce at the rear, which was the real secret.
i know that str and rbr cannot have any basic interlink, bt it was noticable that last year, the str ran with a clear space under their sidepods. was that a preview of the rbr system? or did newey just recognise that there was aplace where gains could be achieved

i will keep commo and googol happy and not mention ~~~~~~!

commo, i queried yesterday hha?

ps. what is this i see about bondi painting the sea and sand RED?

@ Richard

"commo, i queried yesterday hha?"

And I answered, have a look. If I havn't completely ask me clearer and I will reply.

"ps. what is this i see about bondi painting the sea and sand RED?"

You read it wrong mate. There was a red alert due to
the unusual heat we are experiencing. They were warning people of the consequences.

Sunny that may be good. Then we may be able to say something without ridicule.

Richard, I gather you are referring to the Red algae coming into Sydneys beaches, was a strange sight, like the waves were full of blood, never seen anything like it in my 42 years living on the beach.

commodore. you responded about gizz, but no mention of hha.

by the way, earlier in the year you said that two new manufacturers were coming into v8s. is the second one still to be announced?
