Wow, surprised I got that many disagrees for stating facts. Shows how much all of you actually watched this year, and how much of you are just Alonso/Ferrari haters.

@Wade

It's nothing to do with hate, it's to do with sportsmanship or lack of and losing with a little bit of grace.

Alonso won a lot of admirers who before just remembered the McLaren shambles, the pointless protest and statements such as this just show a side of Alonso that isn't so pleasant, he is a bad loser.

From my point of view it's certainly not hate, admire the driving skills but he does has an unfortunate side to his character.

couldn't agree with u more ABVhighGreat.

The main rival knows can't beat Vettel on track, only avenue left is off track “gamesmanship” (won't be surprised if many "journalists",commentators, forumers r hired guns) .... small wonder that once Vettel started leading again, we were bombarded, week after week, with articles like "we r racing Newey", "he can only win in front",bla bla bla or taking his words/ radio communication out of context and making a big fuss out of what are just natural human reactions. They all served2 undermine his character and achievements.

kinda reminds me of 08,09 when "questions" about Kimi's "commitment to racing" surfaced n snowballed ... Same strategy, same group of people. So glad that a true racer who does his talking on the track endured n won!

I know that it is a hard thing for Alonso to accept the fact that that he lost the championship. Especially after trying so hard. Even the last race when he finished 2nd and Vettle 6th, but fans expect more from those who would be champion.

I don't hear Michael whining.

Want a little cheese with that whine, Fernando?

googol. yes, i am one of those and mentioned it the other day. got a bit of stick for it too!
i have "supported" ferrari through thick and thin, but i have lost trust in them. unfortunately this is purely down to ferdi's moaning. i would still talk up flip, though. he never moans, even when he is being the fall guy for ferdi.

All very well, Fred. But if you were just looking for clarification why did you post twitter messages and photos of a cake that imply you are the rightful 2012 champ before you got an answer from FIA about the green flag.

Ferrari will never be gracious and concede.They should learn from Lewis who said he will not protest after Kimi won in Brazil and was gracious.
