@ lol richy wants to include a year when button was not at mclaren, desperation me thinks.

Do you really want to go further down the stat road richy, seriously?

Do you want to go through the career stats, honestly?

You don't want to go their richy lol.

i think button tries more dice roll strategy especially in wet. sometimes it works well and his fans say it was genus call. at least couple of button wins are from being on different tires to all else and safety car timing and so on. but sometimes it works not well and his fans say he was just unlucky. in brazil he got big advantage over rest of field because hamlton called in first by team and just as button was due to go for tyre change it stops raining and he risks different strategy. it worked but it could just as easy been a disaster.

Seriously children stop this silly argument. Lewis is a much better driver than Button. Anybody with a common sense knows this. Only exception is the 2011 season. In that year LH was out of his mind with stupid crashes etc. He learned a lot from that year and matured a lot in 2012. He didnt make 1 single driving error all year while extracting the absolute maximum out of his car. People tend to forget how great LH drove this year because of the stupid mistakes + reliability problems by Mclaren.

Got to wonder why the fanboys hate Button so much, quite funny really. The spend all their time trying to convince the World that Button is just an average driver, well the average driver pushed Lulu pretty close over 3 seasons, so what does that make Lulu?

If Lulu was as good as you think and Button was as bad as you think the gap between them each season would be enormous!

You cling to Lulu's epic qualifying beating Button 16-4, but how on Earth can someone take that advantage and end up only 2 points ahead at the end of the season? Is Lulu really that bad on race day?
Alonso out-qualified Massa by a similar amount, he ends up 156 points ahead of him in the championship, not 2 points!

ty. their their now, i suppose that if someone wants to use my name, then it is a compliment!

lee/fake. the reason i suggested that you compare over the last four years, was to show you that stats can vary depending on what you want to prove. and if you want to use all stats, game on!

you seem to be as bad as ferdi, a sore loser

The only reason Hamilton was outscored tby Button is due to unreliability and McLaren operational issues.

Button was well and truly spanked this year by Hamilton.

I would be interested to know how many of the people who keep citing the points total would apply the same argument to Prost outscoring Senna during their 2 years together, and claim that Prost was a better driver because of it.

@Taipen

I actually like Button he is a good driver with a nice personality. What we dont like is when haters like you spit rubbish. Sorry but he is not in the league of Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel. You can argue with this and bring up the silly point stats but it doesnt tell the true picture. Mclarens mistakes cost Lewis much much more points and race wins this year compared to Button.
