senna has shown occasional speed, but not enough to warrant another drive. the only time we hear of him during practice, quali or the race, is when he has spun or blocked someone else.

I don't understand why some of you want to keep boring drivers in F1. Senna, Sutil, Alguersuari, Kovalainen, Rosberg and a few others all do a stable job, but they are boring and not fast enough, they will never be champions. Get rid of them and put your money on drivers that have raw speed instead, maybe some of them will do some stupid mistakes but they'll learn, and in the meanwhile much more entertaining to watch.

@marcus

You need a consistent points scorer for prize monet at the end of the season. Kimi is exciting but he's also consistent, Lotus would be be getting a much smaller cheque in his absence.

Some would argue Pastor is exciting but he brought back few points but one fluky win and smashed up plenty carbon...as did Senna.

Only chance Bruno has on landing a points-scoring seat is when Force India gets in further financial troubles and has to go the Williams route with two paydrivers instead of one (which would be a shame for Di Resta). Lotus don't need him anymore as Kimi's third place guarantees them some tv-money. So only realistic option is Caterham. Petrov doesn't have sponsor money, but Senna and Razia vd Garde claim they have. Seat will probably get sold to the highest bidder.

PS: I wouldn't miss Bruno if he had to look for work elsewhere. Didn't impress in an HRT (logical, as that thing was a rustbucket)), didn't impress in the Lotus (also logical, as Kubica could mask the performance of the car with his talent in 2010, but his absence made clear the car was outdated) and he could not match the performances of Pastor "Andrea the Crasheris II" Maldonado, whether it be in qualifying or in racing. I'm sorry to everyone who wants to give him fourth chance, but I heard he already has a Plan B in plac

Senna did a stead job this year. He was consistent while PM was off crashing else where. While race wins are always a great boost for the team, PM had an abysmal year constantly crashing and probably costing the team millions in terms of points and car parts. No one cares how fast you are if you don't finish in the points on a consistent basis. To finish first, first you have to finish. I would have liked Senna to stay on at williams and get FP1 time. I'm sure he would have done a lot better.

Sad to say, I feel Caterham will be his best option.

So how long should a driver be given to prove himself?
Senna's had 1 full season - is that enough? Can drives with HRT and Lotus be used as a juudge? Remember Fisichella was doing very well in the Force India to then go to Ferrari for a few races and did dreadfully - he even made Badoer look less of a Bad doer!
