Giedo van der Garde and Luiz Razia continue to consider themselves candidates for the vacant seat at Caterham, despite the team's Brazilian GP result changing the game.

Everyone can disagree all want. But the facts remain. Vitaly Petrov has outdone Kovalainen. He even got the team's best result of the season, even the article says so.

If you check the season results you will see that he finished ahead of heikki more often than not.

And in the absence of points, the highest place finish determines the final placement. Petrov's 11th place finish gave the team a nice economic boost.

Doubt that Guido's dad can come up with financial backing as he is the owner of a children's clothes shop in Veenendaal!
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it is the father of his girlfriend who is the financial backer, so he better be faithfull to her.
