@Syke

The German GP isn't the only scheduling conflict the FIA has going for it, there is also the Austin GP which happen to fall on the same weekend as the UT/Oklahoma game.

I think Portugal deserves a new chance - remember the great reaces in the past and pilots complimenting so much the Estoril circuit? Now, to me the new Portimao circuit is even better. So let'S take F1 back there!

My vote goes to Mugello - the drivers seemed to really enjoy that, except for Petrov being a pussy boy and being critical of the safety.

The greatest circuits in the world (Spa, Suzuka) are not renowned for their safety record. If anything, this adds to the challenge!

In my even-more-of-a-fantasy-world, i'd like Brands Hatch to et the vote, but in the real world where there's really only Turkey and Austria in contention, my vote goes to the latter

@richard. Didn't portimao get F1 approval and then tested there beginning of last year.
While all are dreaming of fantasies, let me as well and say bring the race to Kyalami. Some legendary races there. We all know the chances of that are equal to having a race in hell.
FIA seems to like RedBulls money so I would expect a race there but Dietrich will probably want a multi year deal. So for a once off race Portimoa will look good for that.

safa. a track does not need to be approved for testing purposes. portiamo is not currently to standard, but i do like it. cant see them spending the 30-50m neccessary, especially with their economic problems.

but kyalami would be a lovely location. but again, it probably would need a lot of investment. any rich people down there?

used to be great for winter racing. and for the big sports prototypes. i presume that it was the political situation that killed it off?
