Can anyone advise what the 'Column 3' benefits are? I presume these are payments based on your finishing points at the end of the year? what sort of levels of cash are we talking about here?

Ma hasn't shown nearly enough to be considered for a race seat, I agree on that, but I do think he's performed above expectations (although that really doesn't say much in his case) on his practice runs. However I think his sponsors should rather be looking for a good GP2 seat for him to show what he's made of.

The only thing that this guy has won is in some domestic chinese touring car championship .. and hes looking for a F1 DRIVE?! ridiculous! He'd be as bad as Yuji Ide or maybe even worse. I bet he'd have to bring in 50 or 60m to be even considered for a drive at Marussia or Caterham

If someone was looking for a good definition of what a pay driver actually is...

It would be such a slap in the face of so many aspiring drivers duly going through the ranks of the feeder series.
