Unfortunately the Turkish Prime Minister is a backward, Islamic fanatic. He's much more concerned in building mosques, introducing increasing levels of Islamic indoctrination into schools and basically turning the Turkish Republic into an Ottoman state...

I'm Turkish Cypriot by the way, so no xenophobia here...

As much as i like F1 its really just nonsense you watch from a distance with your hands in your pockets .Most have no hope of ever participating in the f1 circus.
Football on the other hand you can go/watch/shout and play after.
No contest for the disposable income in turkey.
Its F1's loss and another example of the well off wanting the less well off to bankroll their fun.
