F1 » Kubica admits no chance of imminent F1 return


Robert Kubica has started to investigate alternative options for satisfying his competitive urges after admitting that an F1 return is as far away as ever.

Such a shattering shame. He was making good progress with Lotus too. If he can't get back in a F1 car (which sadly is most likely) I'd love to see him in WRC or even V8 Supercars and DTM.

Such a sad story. If you see what motorsport has lost in the last year and a bit...

I believe Kuba is a rare talent, to still be as fast and fearless as he was before after an accident like that takes massive b@lls...

I belive, no matter where he ends up, he will be a competitive factor. I personally would love to see him in WRC WITH VW!!!! Or in DTM... Or even V8 Supercars. I think he would win a championship in either. Maybe Dakar Rally?

And who knows, maybe he DOES make an F1 return. And IF he does, I have no doubt he'd be a force to be reckoned with again.

The F1 dream was over the moment he hit that wall, but F1 is not everything and the fact he got back out there and is kicking ass in rallying is more than most able-bodied could ever achieve. Kudos.
