McLaren, I'll tell you what you should be dwelling on. You should be banging your head against the wall that you didn't sign The Hulk. I don't know what you're expecting from Perez, but you'll soon find out. And why would you be worried about Lulu leaving? That was the best thing to happen to your team since the Hakkinen days. Your team need help with who to run off or not run off. Ron Dennis ran Adrian Newey off with his ignorant controlling personality. Now look what that has caused. Let Lulu go. Go back to your cheating ways. Maybe you can get another title by coersion.

I must admit at the time I thought signing Perez was a great move. However since signing him it seems his performances have dropped off like he's trying too hard now. I hope he can get back to his old self prior to the start of the season.

You mot not dwell on it but your sure are going to miss him!

Perez is no way an equal replacement for Hamilton in speed or experience and with Button you have a good solid number 2 driver who will get the odd win here and there bet never deliver week in week out for Mclaren.

Mercedes must rubbing there hands with glee now that they have the fastest man on the grid.

Im reminded of raikkonen replacing hakkinen, dc upped his level's of professionalism to new heights, but just coudnt keep the young finn down, perez is only 22, the scope for improvement is huge

the mistake that made Lewis was Whitmarsh acting like a dad to Button defending him his bad days on the race track but under fuelling less the pit stops the failures have cost Lewis the title as for next year vettel win the title by default not cause of talent as Ferrari would be slow maclaren won't go nowhere in the hands of button merc haven't got a decent car

Not much point in regretting it now, it is their own fault as they have not produced the best car for years and their generally eratic pitstops, tactics and unreliability do nothing to further their cause. McClaren have fallen away gradually and something needs to be done to bring them back up to the glory days of Senna and Prost etc.
Signing Perez is a purely financial tactic, they start to pay for Mercedes engines next season I beleive. They need someone tougher at the top, Martin Whitmarsh is
all very nice but he does not instill much confidence, perhaps they should dust down RD and see what happens.

@bob

Yes this year Hamilton did deliver week in week out and only lost out on the championship due to unreliability and bad team calls. I dont recall him dissapearing for around half of this seasons races finishing well out of contention like his team mate did.

Proven by the embarassing qualifying Thrashing, More wins and more points!! and pleeease dont go on about the total points scored in the 3 years together because championships go year to year and Hamilton beats Button on those too 2-1 if I recall!
