Why would they dwell on him leaving? 1 championship in 5 years driving the first or second best car. Had Alonso stayed, he,d have won 2 or 3 by now, period.

What is "pure natural talent"? It seems like everyone in F1 is contractually obligated to say this sort of thing about LH - but it means absolutely nothing. What sort of talent do all the other drivers possess - is it impure and unnatural?

I'm sure McLaren are getting sick and tired of fielding questions about Hamilton. The general thrust of the remarks seemed to be "Can we just move on?"

"Mercedes must rubbing there hands with glee now that they have the fastest man on the grid."

I'd be interested in seeing the data which supports the claim that Hamilton is "the fastest man on the grid". It seems to have as much substance to it as the gaseous billowing about his possessing "pure and natural talent".

Hey bob..,
Yeah, unlike Hamilton who delivered week in week out eh?
4th, 5th and 4th in the WDC - proper delivered did Hamilton!

Seems as if you dont have a clue about F1,is it so hard to see that Whitmarsh has been holding back Hamilton to protect his protege. If it meant McLaren finishing 3rd in the championships, then its business as usual

Lackstar, You really have a cheek to accuse anyone of not understanding F1 then you come out with that crap.

You really think any current F1 principal would hold back one driver to make another look good?
This idea that you have that everything in life is in some way predudicial is really quite sad, wake the fk up.
