After 2 average seasons, he's right. If he doesn't prove himself then Force India may be the best he achieves. He was outshone by team mate Hulkenberg this year. Now whoever his team mate is whether it be Sutil, Bianchi, Kobayashi, Kovalainen, Algersuari, Buemi or anyone else, he really has to prove competitive and beat them. If not, his F1 career may wind down rather quickly.

This guy is really quick, I think he was unlucky this season, he should've went to McLaren instead of Perez. Maybe if Perez doesn't deliver early on, we could see a change in drivers.
I want to see Di Resta progress in F1.
He's doing what his cousin Dario Franchitti couldn't do, he wasn't quick enough for F1, and he's winning in Indy racing, so it just shows how quick you have to be to be in F1 :-)
But I really think Di Resta at Ferrari would be intersting.

leo. diresta got into fi, thanks to merc. the simple fact is that hulk was wiping the floor with him, and rightly got a move to sauber. when was the last time diresta was leading a gp?
the main objective of a driver is to first of all beat your teammate.
as for going to ferrari? dream on!

DR hasn't lived up to the hype. IIRC in his 1st six races he outqualified Sutil 5 times and everyone was singing him praises, but as it turned out, he ended that year outqualified and outscored by Sutil and this year the end result vs Hulkenberg is the same...That simply won't be enough for a seat in a top team.

I also personally started to dislike the moaning that happened at the end of this season when Hulk started to show him up race after race. I had traffic...These tyres don't work for my smooth style...blablabla...moan moan...

But we'll see what happens next year.
