"You're clearly a Red Bull and Vettel fanboy and won't tolerate any negativity towards them"

Self awareness is not one of your strong points.

"i just don't get how the Red Bull was as bad, it won 7 races."

Better drivers?

"How about you grow up and accept other people's points of view?"

I will when you will, Dan. All you're saying here is that you do NOT accept my point of view, so this is an odd plea on your part.

'The fact that Ferrari claimed second in constructor's championship was not due to their car's superiority, but due to their team work, excellent pit stops and strategies, and finally, due to Alonso, who clearly outdrove his car."

Take note, Dan. THAT is what a fanboy looks like. If and when I start talking like that about Vettel, you feel free to label me a Vettel fanboy.

I will admit that Nelson Piquet raced prior to my following the sport but I have never thought of him as one of the greats. I am a little suprised that Jackie would use him as an a example of a great in his argument against Vettel. I do tend to agree though that it is a little bit odd to consider someone a great when they are still so early in their career.

I agree with JYS on a few levels.

Firstly you can't really judge a drivers career while they are still active. Fair judgement comes after a career has ended.

Secondly, you can't fairly compare drivers of different eras.

Thirdly, I can't consider Vettel an all time great YET. He's done very little wrong so far, proved to be a fantastic driver who can deliver the goods even when under real pressure but it's still too soon for me to put him in my all time top 10, I'm pretty sure he'll get there in due course though.

How can you still believe what you're coming out with when people have agreed with more I've posted than they have what you've posted.
Anyway, the other post wasn't someone being an Alonso fanboy. They were stating a fact. You ask anyone who knows something about Formula 1 and they will tell you how well Alonso has driven this year. Even if you don't like the guy you can't say he hasn't out performed his car. Massa is a good driver and he will have done the maximum with the car that he was capable of. Alonso did even more than that, therefore he has out driven the car...
Vettel hasn't out performed any Red Bull. He hasn't need to yes because it's been the best car since midway through 2009. But he hasn't performed any miracles like Alonso, Hamilton, Schumacher, Senna etc.
If you really think I'm an Alonso fanboy then go for it, I probably am. But if Vettels done an amazing job then I will admit it. You however, can't cope with anything bad being said about your little German

Yeh very true. I completely agree with that. Massa did completely turn his season around. Even so, JohnO, the Ferrari still wasn't the second fastest car. Unlike the RB5. Which was the fastest

"How can you still believe what you're coming out with when people have agreed with more I've posted than they have what you've posted."

Reality is not something which alters based on how many people click some "Agree" button on a computer.

"the other post wasn't someone being an Alonso fanboy. They were stating a fact."

Son, if you think THAT, then you yourself are the essence of an Alonso fanboy. It is not fact that "Alonso clearly outdrove his car". The phrase "outdrove his car" is a gigantic flag telling you that the person saying it is a fanboy. It has no meaning and is logically nonsensical. Nobody can outdrive his car.
