When Vettel beat Alonso by a very small margin some people lamented but that is the game and correctly you only beat another driver by the smallest margin a season at the time and that is all you need and counts.

Now the story changes..

Because Lewis beat button 2 out of 3 seasons but in the other season his total was very low, .. now they added up the total over 3 season (to justify and end) and seeing that it justified their thinking that was counted,

Hurrah, Geniuses!!!!

There can be only one...
It's GOT to be Kimi...
First for that amazing, falt-out, overtake at Spa...
And second for the "leave me alone, I know what I'm doing!" call on the radio...

Ptolomy, Apparently points scoring doesn't count these days, Button has scored more points than Lulu over 3 seasons but he's slow and generally a bit crap and Lulu is the fastest most epic driver ever. (cough)
To make things fairer for fanboys in future the WDC will be decided by a phone vote, like everything else on TV.

...sorry guys. Its already been decided. The FIA had a big banquet and gave this distinction FOR ALL HISTORY to Sebastian Vettel.
They decided based on the fact that he scored MORE POINTS than ANY other driver in the field.

It's election day in Japan. Instead of going to vote for it, I vote for the driver of the year fair and square.(excluding Caterham, Marussia and HRT)

1 Alonso Hamilton (fast and consistent, with luck one of them would've won the title)

2 Vettel Button (showed how fast their cars are)
3 Raikkonen Perez (not so good in qualify, but in the race they are fast and good)
4 Webber Hulkenberg Maldonado (Hulk and Mal are fast. Difficult thing to know is how consistency they are. Webber had the consistency)
5 Rosberg Kobayashi Massa (Koba and Massa lacked consistency, I like them though)
6 Schumacher di Resta (not so good as before or expected)
7 Senna Riccardo Verge (not so bad)
8 Grosjean (bad)
