Oh stop being so precious about it, you'll be the slowest team on the grid next season (going by Marussia's progress) so quite frankly, it's not going to send tremors throughout the field.

Please please please please PLEASE not van der Garde...he's done absolutely nothing outstanding in endless seasons of GP2!

If the likes of GvdG and Bianchi get on the grid ahead of Kobayashi, Kovalainen, plus the junior champions who beat them in Valsecchi and Frijns, I will be livid!

Kovalainen deserves to keep the seat, though it'd be ironic if it was Petrov's performance that essentially saved him from the sidelines.

Interesting when Cyril says 'transition' year. I'm pretty sure the last 3 years have been transition years... What year are they exactly transitioning into?!

That said, nothing would please me more than seeing Caterham and Marussia challenge those ahead in 2013, but I'm getting bored of waiting for progress.

In terms of performance, on some occasions Caterham were actually quite close from the slowest mid field teams so I'm a bit surprised by the negativity here even if they weren't where they wanted to be.

As for the transition year, Abiteboul is a Renault man and the marque is getting more and more involved. There's little they can do now about next year's car but it won't be the same in 2014.

Caterham, all teeth and no bite. Every year they say they will progress into the midfield and every year they stay in exactly the same position. One could argue that in 2012 they even managed to go backwards.
