Richard, I am British and it's always good to see additional British drivers.

However yes you raise a good point and everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Yeah I agree with you Richard - its pretty annoying that all the flippin time now F1 seems to be obsessed with money and talent comes after the filthy lucre

Maldonado took ages to get to the front in GP2 and was always regarded as a pay driver with not too much talent compared to other young drivers.

It'll be intresting to see how Chilton fares. The only really talented drivers to have come out of GP2 are ones who dominated (Hamilton, Hulkenberg...)

Lets see how Max does next season before you say he doesn't deserve to be there.

You never know, he could be one of those drivers tht clicks with Formula 1 cars better than they did in the lower formulas!

Give the guy a chance first!

Wish people would stop knocking drivers who pay to get in to F1. This has been happening for years and thats a fact of life, Max works very hard at his racing and is a great example of an acomplished driver who is fit and is well spoken,Winning in F3 and GP2 is not easy, Support another Brit please.

My word people are rude aren't they! Does anyone actually look at a drivers junior record are they just judged on the perception of family money? Max was the fastest qualifier in BF3 in 2009 and won 2 GP2 feature races this year in rather convincing style Give him a chance in a F1 car before creating such a negative backlash? If he does have the F1 seat then I for one will be showing my support come British GP time!
