@ fish fingers I have no doubt he'll be pumped. But, his and Nico's success will depend mostly on what kind of car Merc delivers. Lewis is good. But, he's not that good. Everybody knows "it's the car stupid".

Well, given all the inter-team dynamics explored all over this web-site (at length), next year could be one of the most intriguing seasons for some time.

Will Massa continue to out-qualify Alonso, and what would Ferrari's response be? Will Rosberg unwillingly play second fiddle to P-Diddy? Will Webber mount a season long challenge this time around? Will Button step up to be a team leader, put Perez in the shade and answer his critics? Will Grosjean manage to keep his altercations in single figures?

Will anyone who beats one of the 'top three' be considered worthy or will it always be 'the car' that won it in their case?

So many questions, so many opinions.

Whatever the outcomes, I think it's going to be a hoot!

polo. i re-iterate tys comments. jose just got lost, but i did not run him off. look at any of my comments to him, they were light hearted and non malicious, even when he was abusive and insulting to me. but in reality, he rarely if ever posted a relevant comment, prefering to just criticise others.

Polo, I'd be happy to see Jose return, most of the things that went on between us were certainly light hearted from my side, not sure if Jose always seen it that way as he wanted the US Attorney General to investigate Crash and close it down since some of us are not Lulu fanatics!
Anyway where ever Jose is and whatever he's doing I hope he and Jackson are well.

@ richard Ron is also part of the problem at Macca. Whatever happened to Jose? There's a rumor going around u and your buddy Taipan drove him off. It feels real strange not having him and that crazy dog around.

Methinks that Lewis is far too susceptible to emotional distractions, and that played a huge part in his lack of success for the last two seasons. Once he got his girly side under control, he was quick as hell.
Jenson has a weakness too, and that is the tendency to whine about the tires almost all year. And again, once that got sorted to his satisfaction by the team, he was PDQ as well.
So, carrying this all forward, if, (and I suspect that Lulu did some growing up this year) Lewis can put his head down and race, he has the pace to make a slow car competitive, same as Fernando. And IF (a bigger ask) Ross Brawn can get his head out of where it's been stuck for two years, Lewis will be a major factor in 2013. If either or both do not happen, Lewis will have to fall back on his RAP career.

apparantly brawn was seen looking at shopping trollys in morrisons..looking for inspiration i think.or as he decided to base 2013 on the morrisons trolly instead of last years car being based on asdas trolly....why dont merc use some of morrisons some of asdas and a bit of the aldi trolly..maybe then brawn will get it right and give lewis a fighting chance...fat chance..
