New Caterham team principal Cyril Abiteboul admits that the energy created by claiming tenth in the standings in the dying moments of the the 2012 season will be useful for the work that lies ahead this winter.

Marussia made greater steps forward in 2012 than Caterham have in three years in the sport. No KERS, Cosworth engine, and no prize money from 2011, yet only lost the hallowed 10th place in the final Grand Prix. That technical partnership with McLaren is seemingly paying off. Excited to see what they can do in 2013.

kinda proves what a name means in f1.....
Caterham does attract interest and would be a shock if beaten by any of the smaller teams
while Marussia seems like a backmarker to even Caterham....
Cant see both surviving the piranha club,,,,room for just one I think.
