Wolfie, That would have been Pescara, some of the lap was through the town but some was out into the countryside it was a 25km lap! Moss won in a Vanwall 1957.
KGB I'd rather watch a RACE at the Osterreichring than watch an ADVERTISEMENT at Singapore.

kgb. i have it now! you are not a fan of f1. so why on earth do you come here and spout drivel?

it is a number of the new tracks that are built without supporting facilities. india being a prime example.

if you do not like the traditional tracks, why do you bother to watch the races? leave us true afficianados to savour the likes of spa, monza etc etc.

Richard, I'm guessing KGB would like to see Spa demolished since it's in a field in the middle of nowhere. Eau Rouge, Blanchimont, Pouhon who needs them, "progress" would be chicanes next to a Costa, a McDonalds and a Vodafone shop!

If Thailand want an F1 race fine, but build an F1 Circuit first, I heard a Rich Singaporean is building an F1 circuit in South Johore, Malaysia about 20 minutes drive from Singapore. It would be nice to have Singapore night race there.

Bernie can have day or night races in Burma, Fc$$$ Vietnam, Siam , Singapore, Indonesia, Borneo and Pakistan. But get those countries to build the F1 Circuit first. Those street circuits are not meant for racing. They are for the gladiators or street fighters
