I am an Australian and am proud of Mark. He doesn't get the drive just because he brings money, or sucks good c*ck, he earns it.If he is only eights in your wonderful top ten then there must be a lot of under achievers above him. Crash's top ten is about as usefull as an ashtray on a motorbike, with all the fanboys out bending over hoping to get what they want.

"if I also was an australian I would be mightily embarassed of him"

I think you'll be hard pressed to find many Aussie F1 fans who are "embarrassed" of Mark. He's a race winner, and at some points in his career has been a title contender. We waited a long time to see our flag rise above the top step of the podium and Mark's shown that he's got the stuff by winning numerous times. I'm proud of him. I'd wager almost every Aussie F1 fan is also proud of him. He's a good driver and a good bloke. What more could you ask for.

Josh - Agreed. How many other Australian's even make it to the F1 level, let alone have scored points, finished on the podium, finished on the top step, taken pole positions, and genuinely challenged for the title? Embarrassed for a guy who's competing at the front amongst the best drivers in the world, and is on occasion the guy at the very front? Even if he finishes his career without a WDC to his name, it's still a feat to have made it to where he is and competed with the best. And he's a top bloke. Could possibly do with a sandwich though.

I like MW a lot. For the most part he is a steady driver, makes few mistakes, brings the car home in the points and occasional is on the top step. While not a fan of SV he is a great driver. While small things make SV a great driver over MW, MW is still a GOOD driver. People call for MW to retire or leave but he apparently still has something in him. You do not win Monaco and Silverstone without having some skill in you.

IMHO, why should RBR get ride of MW? He is a race winner, consistent, and probably gets along just fine in the team.
