Both Marussia and Caterham have improved, but they started from so far behind it's hard work catching up. I'm expecting Marussia to make big gains next year however as they've got Pat Symmonds running the show and they've started using a wind tunnel which has already given them improvements. Caterham have more funds so they should be in a better place to improve, but that isn't always the case.

Caterham should keep PEtrov alognside Pic. Then they would have 2 very driven pay drivers who would want to get a return on their expenses.

Considering the results Petrov was getting, given that if Kovalainen was a bit more driven, he could have scored. But instead Petrov destroyed him.

Pic also seems very driven to do well.

In this case I think pay drivers are the way to go for Caterham (it did wonders for Williams and Sauber), unless they could somehow land Vettel or Alonso for 2013...
