Ptolomy, The reason Luca gave for not wanting Lulu was,

Ferrari would be Lulu's 3rd team and that puts him well into the second half of his career.

Strange reason, I can think of many, many better reasons than that!

Ferrari has a history of wanting ruthless drivers that do not publicly attack the team if things aren't going well. They've went as far as firing drivers for that.

I don't think Hamilton is as ruthless as Alonso or Vettel, and he has a history of publicly criticizing the team, neither of which will earn him a Ferrari seat.

Ferrari also does not like drivers that put their own public image over that of the team. Sure the drivers can be popular superstars, but in the end for Ferrari it's about the TEAM not the driver.

I think you have a point there. No one is bigger than the team, not even Schumacher. People were saying Fernando was a diva and wouldn't fit, but I think it's been a fantastic match so far. Notice how Alsono always, always points to the team, talks about the team effort etc. THAT is what Ferrari want I think. Lewis is more like ME ME ME ME ME thanks to 'the guys', they did a fantastic job... anyway ME ME ME ME ME. Will be interesting to see how things go at Merc though. Maybe it will be different there.

It's in fact a letter of intent addressed in the first place to both Fernando and Sebastian as they will not have to be together in the same yard. As it stands now, there is not any yard large enough for both of them. Not even Ferrari's !

You must have memories as long as your johnson. FERNANDO said the team talked and and talked during the week. And did nothing on race weekend. He threw the team completely under the bus. And if Ferrari didn't want Lewis because it would be his third team. Why hire FA on his Fourth? Ferrari has foot and mouth desease.

Rob, I think Luca was just being diplomatic when he said they wouldn't want Lulu as it was his 3rd team, lets face it if he told the truth and said he wouldn't want Lulu because he's a persistent embarrassment you and the other cheerleaders would get all bitter and twisted.
