@pole position - I shouldn't imagine Jenson Button gives a monkeys about where he's placed in a poll on crash.net!

Being voted British competition driver of the year (for the 4th time) is probably more important to him.

@ jim crint Everybody knows Button shouldn't have won that award this year and saying he deserves it is an embarrassment. The bar must've been set real low this year. Autosport should be ashamed of themselves!!!

@pole position - I didn't say he deserved it, I just said he won it. I was surprised. Perhaps the people who decide these things took into account Hamiltons off-track childish behaviour. Posting Mclaren data on twitter, or having a pop at his team mate for 'unfollowing' him! Moaning about his team while being blind to his own failings doesn't help either.

Lewis has grown up a lot this year, but he's still got a long way to go!

@ jim crint This might be a shock to u. But, I wouldn't even had given it to Hamilton. Like u said Hamilton's antics probably cost him. I'm pretty sure any of the other candidates deserved it more than Button. Even his look on stage gave him away. He looked like "the cat who took the cream" it was a joke.

Purely as I saw this year for Button as an off year, like Hamilton last year. And last year Hamilton didn't make the top 10 for Crash. Seems like double standards from the voters
