So Alonso tops the Crash Poll, how unexpected/ NOT!!!
All the Ferrari Fan Boys & Alonso Lovers cannot see further than their noses!
Alonso is a fairly decent driver but not better than several others. Just my opinion, which i am entitled to.
Would have loved to see Kimi as Champ & Top of every poll! Aint gonna happen so not taking too much notice of Alonso being top of this one. Just shows how many Tifosi come to this site!!!
Better luck next year Kimi!!

@ gibbon75 In a Mclaren? It wouldn't have made any difference. It might've been worse. Did u forget all the Mclaren mishaps? The botched pitstops, the shooting themselves in the foot, the DNF's...etc. I could go on and don't forget Raikkonen has been down this road with Mclaren. He's very familiar with their screw-ups. There's this fallacy going around that just because a driver gets behind a wheel of a Mclaren they should win races & WDC's. How has that worked for Button and Hamilton? It takes more than a good car to win in F1. It's a team sport. Hindsight is 20/20.

@Pole Position
Don't tell me that the 2012 McLaren wasn't capable to be WDC and it wasn't faster than the Lotus.
Pit stops:a low 4 sec pit stop was like Christmas for Lotus
Lotus Strategy: or more like the lack of it.

Kimi understood the Pirelli tyres from the get go,but Lewis struggled with it for the first part of the season,not to mention Jenson who got lost in the woods (as usual) for the most part of it.

@ gibbon75 The car was capable of winning a WDC. The team wasn't. They were too gaff prone and their pitstops didn't improve until it was too late. I think they had about 8 DNF's between the 2 drivers. Mclaren for a top team is overrated and in my opinion have one of the worst team boss's on the grid (MARTIN "FEARLESS LEADER" WHITMARSH).

Kimi Raikkonen is only 192 laps into his Formula 1 comeback with Lotus, but the Enstone outfit's chief, Eric Boullier, reckons that the 2007 world champion has already shown his true colours. Kimi is fast, we knew that, but he has also proved that he is capable of being the leader that every Formula 1 team needs.
For Lotus (nee Renault), Raikkonen's return is timely indeed. There was a time when it had an iron man in the cockpit in the form of Robert Kubica, a driver who imposed his personality on the team and left no one in any doubt as to what he wanted... and demanded. He wasn't necessarily the most easy-going to work with, but he was loved by the team because he did the job behind the wheel and left no stone unturned in the pursuit of results. For a team that felt the absence of that kind of leadership so keenly in 2011, Raikkonen's arrival has been embraced.

If Romain doenst crash in 2013 it would be a great team battle between him and kimi just like webber and vettel in 2009. Even if Kimi doesnt win, he still entertains. Thatz enough
