I never could understand why an overtaking aid was strictly limited during the race (where overtaking is required) but unlimited in qualifying and practice (where overtaking is rarely required)

Well, this time i think different than Kimi. I want to see the car exploit at full. If the Red Bull could open is rear wing it means they, in this circuntancies, have the better car. I want qualifying tyres. I want more manufactures in the championship. Maybe rules should be more radical, putting a limit in fuel consumption for instance, more brands will be attract to join f1 because they could use this technology in road cars. I don't know, maybe if radical rules were implemented instead of three manufactores we could finishing with none. Who is in charge knows more about this than me. Only one more thing about little teams. With this rules they suffer more. In qualifying they only have 15 minutes of exposion, and even in this time, TV is, in the majority of time, following "the big guns". In this scenario it is very small the chance of new entries. But let's end with this mood. In the other side, the tracks are much better than in the past and the level of pilots is greater too. We h

The current tire specifications have already solved the overtaking problem. WIth DRS they should either let any driver use it anytime that they want or just bin it altogether.

The reason the DRS was implemented in the first place was to facilitate more passing during the race. So let it serve the purpose for which it was designed. It should only be utilized during the actual race.

They should bin it but I have the impression likes to keep the face on this one and pretend that their contribution is indispensable...

This is a Gordian knot slashing make shift solution...Just use your brain and find a good technical formula that allows closer racing. GP2 used to have it so why not look a bit there. Less wing, more ground effect, more streamlined cars and simpler aero elements.
