Pedro de la Rosa remains optimistic that he can find a new home in time for the 2013 F1 season, following the closure of the HRT team.

There is a sort of milieu mentality in the closed circles of F1 in which some drivers like de la Rosa keep some kind of credentials whereas others like Bourdais for instance were considered and treated like outcasts.

About HRT, it might be somewhat concerning to some extent for F1 that nobody in the world with cash to spread seem to want to have a go. You see billionaires losing huge sums on football clubs yet nobody in their "right mind" even the craziest ones would consider buying HRT...

@ Over2u That's really cold blooded, man. lol
The truth is when F1 cut back on testing de la Rosa was really living on borrowed time. His time at HRT was a added bonus. He should just step away and retire with some dignity.

The likes of Thesan Capital hoped to buy in , do the minimum possible , capitalise on the Alonso effect and sell on at massive profit to some bozo spanish company that still thought the economy was booming. It didn't work so they are cutting their losses. the end.

Why, why, why does this guy not give up?! Well into his 40s now, in his 20s he was, at best, average. He is now mediocre arrogant enough to believe his own nonsensical self-publicity
