Apparently Mercedes have had a different designer working on the 2013 car, it will be interesting to see what they come up with and whether or not they turn their attention to 2014 early on in the 2013 season.

Ultra small gearbox? I don't know, that reeks of unreliability to me.

Don't they know how many DNF's Red Bull and Torro Rosso went through while Adrian Newey was refining their gearbox? Do they really want to be going through that now?

They should fine tune the old gearbox also just in case the new unit turns problematic. They need results for the 3 years Hamilton is signed on for. For the board a couple wins next year might be considered normal.

Ross Brawn has said that they have been concentrating on the WO4 car for a while due to the 2012 chassis being a financial strain to try to get right due to the chassis being designed around the unsuccessful double drs.

Hami the best of British and Nico the best German driver will be getting a new designed car which must be a improvement on the 2012 car so it will be interesting to see if the team hits the ground running or will they have to iron out any glitches in the new designed WO4 throughout the 2013 season. It seems the team decided not to try to improve the WO3 car so Nico and Schumi just had to get on with it. with.

SPOT THE TYPO "IF Lewis beats the McLaren boys in the first round, it will be something else. I would love to see Mercedes own McLaren next year, would make up for all the screw ups imo. Posted by professor-x"

answer = IF

Is crash testing going to be ...more important for any reason, this year...for the Mercedes? Cant take chances I suppose. I hope the Ferrari -come to think of it, is "heavier", in the right places.

If colour schemes remain the same or similar, the number one crash kidd might be harder to spot in his less prominant colour scheme. Lets watch this space and hear what the fan boys have to say about that?
