i reckon that every innovation the bulls will come up with this year, will be protested. it was tried several times this year, but failed to halt the genius, newey

Rich red bull kept all their points for those efforts.Luca even said it was wrong. So maybe they will be blessed again for working outside the rules

rob. the difference was that the bull was NEVER "outside the rules"! it was LEGAL, and in one case, rbr actually had a letter confirming the issue was LEGAL. you cannot exclude or penalise a car if it is legal. all issues resulted in the regs being re worded.

If there are protests of RBR having crossed the line that will be no big dial all the FIA have to do is tell them/ask them to step back on the right side of the line and not to worry about points gained.

Sunny. I agree. Hence why Alonso is calling for same loopholes. If points are not being taken away a team needs to walk on the outside and be rewarded.

rob. why should points be taken from a car that is LEGAL, even if it is using loopholes? as you say, alonso is calling for ferrari to use these loopholes. if they exist, dont blame those who are clever enough to exploit them, blame the fia for not spotting where advantage can be obtained. after all, YOU do not want a spec series!
