Bwaaa-ha-ha-ha...

Yes yes Twit-marsh... I believe this has been said near word - for - word in the past... we all know Button will get the preferential treatment just as before.. I believe Mr Buttons comments about Lewis leaving & Perez joining were "It will be great to have a car built around me"....

Kinda feel for Perez joining the Maccy squad...

I'm suprised that Crash! are still using pictures of Perez at Sauber when McLaren have released photo's of Perez in McLaren uniform being toured around the factory in Woking...

All everybody need to know is Mclaren haven't won a Constructors championship since 1998. That's a long time my friends. What's going to make this year any different? Going racing with two average drivers and a mediocre team boss doesn't bode well for 2013.

And the hope that 'a natural order' will reveal itself as the season progresses, untill a scenario where the drivers need to be managed, for the first time in his career as team principle, Martin Whitmarsh has no need to worry about Lewis Hamilton throwing his toys out of the pram.

Wouldn't it be fair to let the new driver earn his equal atatus by delivering good results in his first season? Meanwhile he can help his team mate if it becomes necessary.

If McLaren have learned anything in the last 3 years it should be to give Perez the no.2 status and a year to learn. The past three years they have given both Button and Hamilton equal treatment which has resulted in them taking points off each other. Every other top team has a no.1 & no.2 driver which seems to work better.

Also I read somewhere that Button & Perez will be partnered for 3 seasons, I didn't realize Button's contract was that long.
