In reply to Pete, above, how can Webber perform up to his best when he has the number 2 team and the number 2 car and he isn't getting the moral suport and backing that the finger-kid is getting, and then there's the unreliability of the car that lets him down as well!
GO Mark!!!!!!

Whether or not i agree with what Marko says, I think he displayed a total lack of class for expressing this opinion in public. Massa got far better support from Ferrari during his "difficult period".

And the hits keep on coming...

And still some argue Helmut's doing a fine job. So Richard, tell me how exactly these Marko comments are helping RBR? I'm surprised what you manage to come up with.

Also, you might want to look at the agrees on the 1st comment and wonder if anyone high up at RB(R) should be happy with Marko's raging ego striking again.

As always, these comments reveal more about the speaker than their intended target.

I'm surprised Helmet bothers with the mind games towards Mark and Alonso, the former already knows he isn't going to get any support from Marko and it just reveals to the latter that Marko considers him a threat this year. Hardly news on either count.

Just have a fantastic year Mark, that will be the best comeback

all that looks like surrealistic
really...i am surprised with that, all comes from three years ago and will never stop, right?

i follow Webber since always, i have seen
him race good when the situation was bad...

there,s always somebody disturbing the the others..

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree entirely with @Richard! Webber has proven repeatedly that when the title pressure is on, he starts making mistakes.

However, I really don't understand the reasoning behind why Marko is coming out saying this now. As others have said, does nothing for RBR's brand, and is creating unnecessary controversy before a wheel is turned.

Unless, of course, Webber is trying to ruffle feathers inside of RBR to try to undermine/unsettle SV's place in the team...?

@Paul Kirk

Webber started better than SV in 2010 but faded through no fault of RBR and lost the WDC. Webber started better than SV in 2012 but faded beginning in midseason as Vettel got stronger. Mechanical DNFs are part of racing and always will be, don't depend on that crutch to make the point Webber is not performing as a WDC.

Once again, EVERYTHING Marko has said is 100% true, but it does not help his team one bit. Luckily for your favorite driver, I believe he is so stubborn that Markos comments will not detract from his track performance. I predict MW track performance will be the same as it ever was, he'll win a couple races going away and underperform in the rest.... just like Marko said he does. Sorry, that's what the non-biased fans see.

I don't get it. The good Doctor diagnoses Mark can't handle pressure. His prescription. To apply more pressure by publicly highlighting his flaws.

Yep, makes sense eh.

Marko, give up the agenda, we all know you hate Mark and love Seb.
Webber, beat Vettel this year then move on to a team who'd REALLY appreciate your talents.

Whilst I despise such comments as being totally inappropriate, I can't help but feel that Marko is being quite clever. If Webber fails to make this season a success, then Marko can just say I told you so. If, on the other hand Webber has an outstanding year, then just wait for the comments along the line of "I only made those comments to motivate him - and look how well they worked".
