That Lulu exit from mclaren was good news for Button I agree.
That Lulu is the fastest driver I don't agree, but I agree that he is one of the fastest.
That he is one of the fastest driver's on the grid but not the best I not only agree but believe it's a fact.
Also a fact is he is one of the most problematic driver's on the grid.

@pole position - by trying to claim that Button was favoured over Hamilton, and in some way got preferential treatment in order to do well, only goes to show how skewed your thinking is given that the facts, the actual results, don't fit the way you'd like things to be, ie that Lewis is the best driver out there and should be beating everyone else hands down! And anyone who calls Jenson Button an 'average' driver is just talking errant nonsense and hasn't got the first clue about this sport IMHO! This kind of fan-boy paranoia is just a joke and if you are, as you claim to be, a fan of McLaren, maybe showing a little support and saying something positive once in a while might not be bad thing. I bet even when Jenson won in Canada in 2011 you sat there grizzling about it instead of enjoying a great race with a nail biting finish like everyone else. Well, if that be the case, it's your loss mate, shame you can't just enjoy it.

But it's always the same. As soon as a driver that a fan-boy

.....that a fan boy doesn't rate does well, the first port of call is to cry conspiracy, my guy's been nobbled by the team, how else could my driver, who's obviously so much better be beaten by this 'average' driver?

Laughable!

This upcoming season is going to be epic. So many drivers have, even more than usual, a massive point to prove.

Will Jenson see off Perez and claim a second WDC. Will Massa continue to out-qualify Fernando in the early races, as he did at the end of last season. Will Webber finally put one over on Vettel and shove it down Helmut Marko's disrespectful throat! Will Rosberg respond to the threat posed by Hamilton and gain the upper hand as he did over Shumacher. Will Lewis galvanise Mercedes into becoming a true front running team (again, as they were as Brawn). Grosjean, Raikkonen, Di Resta, the emerging Hulkenberg...the last season of the V8s, maybe forever.........I can't wait!

well obviously its good for button.. Hamilton leaving means Jenson will probably be qualifying in front now and i don't think its going to take Perez long to bring the fight to button and get to grips with the mclaren. glad hamilton left and is giving himself a new stinking hard challenge... my faith was definatly going from the mclaren team as so was hamiltons. to many ****ty things happened in 2012 season..

It depends on the car McLaren produces for this season. If its not suited to his driving style we may hear more complaints of understeer and balance issues from Jenson.

The tires for next year are exactly what Jenson wished for. The team he hoped would be molded around him for the last two years is finally here. Even though Martin said the drivers will get equal treatment the smart money is on the team working with Button for the championship.
